SPECIAL LABORATORY SERVICES IN OUR CENTER
IN OUR CENTER, CERTAIN SPECIAL LABORATORY DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES ARE AVAILABLE TO US, WHICH WE CAN OFFER EXCLUSIVELY TO OUR PATIENTS.
EUROArray Dermatomycosis
Usually, a lot of time must be allowed for an accurate diagnosis of a fungal culture. It can take up to six weeks for a laboratory result to become available. With the brand-new pathogen-specific method of EUROArray Dermatomycosis, this can be achieved within a few days. The findings are received promptly, and treatment can begin quickly. A molecular biological process (PCR) is used here, in which one can even obtain information about the sources of infection and the carriers of the fungus (e.g., human or animal carriers). This can be an important success factor for the subsequent targeted treatment.
As the first practice in Vienna and Austria, we are pleased to offer you the opportunity to find out within a few days whether a fungus is present. This diagnostic method can also be used for other fungal diseases (e.g. nail fungus). In this way, pathogens can be quickly identified and treated on every part of the body (e.g., fungal infections on the face).

Diagnosing food intolerance - painlessly and quickly with the Gastrolyzer
In our medical center we work with the gastrolyzer, an H2 breath test, to determine any food intolerance quickly and painlessly. The gastrolyzer is a hydrogen breath test device with which functional intestinal diseases and, in particular, food intolerances can be determined through the patient's breath. It measures the hydrogen content of the breath, which is created by the bacterial decomposition of carbohydrates in the large intestine. These reach the lungs via the body's own circulation and can thus provide information about incompatibilities.

Alex2 - Detailed analysis of allergens
With this modern test technology, the Allergy Explorer (Alex2), all relevant allergen sources can be identified. For repeatedly sensitized patients, or in the case of ambiguous clinical information, the conventional method to determine individual allergens is often time-consuming, limited by health insurance company laboratory restrictions, and can be as painstaking as searching for a needle in a haystack.
In such cases, a comprehensive »allergen screening« provides a clear picture of the sensitizations and therefore provides helpful support for the correct diagnosis and avoidance of exposure.
Examination of specific IgE against almost 300 allergens, including almost 120 extracts and 180 allergen components. The test therefore covers more than 90% of the possible type I allergen sources. All that is needed is 1 ml of blood.
