Can my permanent make-up be removed?
If you are not, or no longer, happy with your microbladed eyebrows, permanent lip liner or eyeliner, they can be removed using modern laser technology. The removal is gentle, complete for almost all permanent make-ups and leaves no scars.
To remove permanent eyeliner, protective eye shields must be inserted. Dr. Gábor Bali in particular specialises in inserting the eye shields before the treatment to protect your eyes.
Which laser is available at ‘Medizin am Hauptbahnhof’?
The Discovery PICO represents the latest generation of picosecond lasers. The system is based on an Nd:YAG laser source that emits at both 1064 nm and 532 nm. The laser features Quanta’s exclusive Pico-Boost technology and delivers peak power with ultra-short pulses, allowing optimised treatment results.
How many treatments are needed?
Complete removal of permanent make-up usually requires between 3 and 6 treatments. The interval between treatments should be at least 6–8 weeks, as this is how long it takes for the immune system to clear away the broken-down pigment particles.
The number of treatments depends on the colour and amount of pigment used, the size of the area and the depth of the pigment, as well as on your aftercare following the treatment.
What does the treatment cost?
- Eyebrows: EUR 120 per treatment
- Eyeliner: EUR 60 per treatment, plus EUR 120 for inserting the eye shields – a total of EUR 180 per session
- Lip liner: EUR 60 per treatment
- Medical consultation before the first treatment: EUR 60
A medical consultation is required before treatment begins. One of our dermatologists will determine your skin type and assess the colour spectrum, pigment depth and age of your permanent make-up.
What should I keep in mind after the treatment?
Immediately after the treatment, mild redness and swelling are common. These usually subside on their own. Crusts may form on the treated areas; these should be cared for with ointments and creams. We are happy to recommend which products are best for you.
It is essential to avoid sun exposure for several weeks to prevent unwanted pigmentation. Outdoors, sunscreen with SPF 50+ must always be worn. Even better, avoid the sun completely during the first few days after the treatment.
